Verified Reviewer |I was in Sheetz in Ladysmith,Va. Store # 747 at about 7:30 p.m. to get my pods for my Blu device as I normally do and at the same location. They are always $7.99, no problem.
Tonight they had a sign hanging under them that read $2.00 off pods. The total came up to $19.98 and with my Sheetz card $15.98 what happened to the $4.00 off and why did they ring up to $19.98 when the price is always $7.99?
The young man didn't know either so he called another one that was suppose to be a manager. He tried his best to talk around it, even said the $2.00 was off the device. I said, honey turn around and read the sign out loud, " pods" My total ended up $16.73 just like it normally would.
This is false advertisement at its finest. I would have expected that out of others but not Sheetz.

Subject: Formal Complaint against Employees for Harassment and Unprofessional Behavior
Dear to whom it may concern:
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against the employees at your gas station regarding an incident that occurred on November 17, 2023, at approximately 1:19 pm. I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by the unprofessional behavior and lack of concern displayed by your staff during this incident.
On the aforementioned date, I was at the gas pump when I witnessed a near-accident involving a lady and another vehicle.
Concerned for her safety, I immediately went into your store to inquire about the driver of the green car involved in the incident. I approached the manager on duty, whose name I unfortunately did not obtain, and informed her about what had just occurred.
To my surprise, the manager showed a complete lack of empathy and dismissed my concerns. When I explained that I had witnessed the incident and wanted to inform the owner of the green car, she callously responded, "We can't control if someone gets hit." This response was not only insensitive but also demonstrated a lack of understanding of the gravity of the situation.
Furthermore, when I requested to speak directly with the manager, she brushed me off and redirected me to another staff member. This dismissive behavior was highly unprofessional and did not address my concerns adequately.
Instead of addressing the issue herself, she sent a male and a female associate outside to follow me and write down my license plate number without providing any explanation. When I confronted her about this, she simply replied, "Oh, nothing."
I find this entire incident deeply troubling and unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, especially when bringing a serious matter to the attention of the management. The behavior exhibited by your employees not only failed to meet these expectations but also created an uncomfortable and hostile environment.
I kindly request that you take immediate action to address this matter.
I expect a thorough investigation into the incident, appropriate disciplinary measures for the employees involved, and a sincere apology for the distress caused. Additionally, I urge you to provide proper training to your staff on customer service, conflict resolution, and handling emergency situations.
Please be aware that if this matter is not resolved satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to escalate my complaint to the appropriate authorities and share my experience on various online platforms and social media channels.
I believe it is in your best interest to rectify this situation promptly and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.
I look forward to receiving a written response within a reasonable time frame addressing the actions taken to address this complaint. I trust that you will handle this matter with the seriousness it deserves and restore my faith in your establishment.

User's recommendation: Beware of the Sheetz store at 6054 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, Pa. During COVID-19 the store was temporarily closed due to under staffing and now filled with clueless employees of the food service industry. Look for filthy restrooms, counters, coffee machines, and floors. See how many people are wearing hair nets on the food preparation line.
